Dr. De La Fuente was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, a place she dearly calls home. Growing up in this vibrant community, she attended Homer Hanna High School and was a member of the Golden Eagle Marching Band. Dr. De La Fuente then pursued her education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree at Baylor University and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors from both institutions.
Dr. De La Fuente is passionate about staying at the forefront of dentistry. She is an active member of various professional organizations. Through continuing education courses, she ensures her patients receive the most exceptional and up-to-date dental care.
Family values are at the heart of Dr. De La Fuente’s success. She attributes her achievements to her supportive parents, who instilled in her the importance of hard work, humility, and empathy. Now, as a wife and mother of two sons, Dr. De La Fuente is thrilled to raise her own family in the Rio Grande Valley while giving back to the community she loves.
In her free time, Dr. De La Fuente enjoys creating special moments with her family. Whether spending quality time at home or engaging in local activities, she cherishes the sense of community that makes the Valley so unique.
